Who is Christa Taylor?
Hi! I’m Christa Taylor, the best place to see my professional experience is LinkedIn. In short, my passion is the Internet, technology, blockchain, IoT, new generic Top-Level Domains (TLDs), domain names to mention just a few.
After spending a significant amount of time evaluating businesses, analyzing data, compiling strategic insights, I decided that I really loved it and so, I applied to Northwestern University. They were kind enough to accept me and I completed the program with a Masters of Science in Predictive Analytics (MSPA). Northwestern was named by Forbes as ‘The 6 Best Data Science Master Degrees’ (May 2017) and consistently ranks as one of the top 25 universities in the world.
Data mining is key in locating the gems that add real benefits to businesses – strategically, financially or otherwise. Naturally, having an accounting background I have a bit of a different perspective on how to tie everything together but it still comes down to the data, how to utilize it and how to tie it together to add real meaning and value.
A couple of great quotes:
‘He who would search for pearls must dive below‘! – John Dryden
‘The goal is to turn data into information, and information into insight’ – Carly Fioring
If you can’t measure it, you can’t fix it!
